Will Allbooks Reviews consider my book for review?
Absolutely, we at Allbooks Reviews will review your book unless it contains the following: pornography, extreme violence, and/or excessive foul language. Our staff will have the final say in deciding whether your mature adult content falls into these categories.
How can I get my book reviewed?
Simply contact us through the website and we will provide you with our mailing address and additional submission procedures. Allbooks Reviews responds to requests within 24 hours. We appreciate our authors and we will respectfully answer every email.
How long will my book be 'Featured' once it has been reviewed?
Each book is featured for a period of one month with cover graphics and purchase information. The complete review is posted in the Review Showcase for at least one year.
Does Allbooks post my review on Amazon?
Yes, if your book is listed for sale on Amazon, the Allbooks Review will be posted automatically to the Amazon.com and Amazon.ca sites. We also list on Amazon.co.uk and BarnesandNoble.com.
How do I enter my book for the Allbooks Reviews Editor's Choice Award?
Every book Featured by Allbooks is automatically considered for the Editor's Choice Award at the end of the year. Winners receive excellent publicity in Press Releases to the US, Canada and the UK.
Should I just email my manuscript to Allbooks for a review?
No, we do not accept unsolicited books. Please contact us first to ensure you receive our proper submission procedures.
What if I want to advertise my book on your site but I do not want a review?
Contact us for advertising fees and information. We sell advertising space for as little as $12 for one month. Featured authors get a 50% discount from the above price. We will advertise books not reviewed by Allbooks Reviews, publishers, printers, sites of interest.
What if I am shipping my book from another country?
Simply mark the package "Media Release" and there will be no difficulty with customs, border crossings, etc.
What happens to my book after it is reviewed?
Books sent for review become the property of Allbooks Reviews. Rest assured, we DO NOT sell your book as used copies on Amazon or ebay , as is the case with some less reputable reviewers. Many Allbooks reviewers keep the books on their personal bookshelves or present them as gifts to people who love to read. Most books, especially Children’s titles are distributed free of charge to schools and local reading groups. Adult titles may be distributed to Senior’s Homes, Adult reading programs, etc. as we like to promote reading and literacy whenever possible. Some are donated to charities such as UNICEF where they are shipped to countries where books are rare and greatly appreciated. Once in a while we set a book free with BookCrossings.com sending it on a journey around the world. Whatever the fate of your review copy, you can be sure that your book will be handled with the utmost respect and will be distributed to a worthy reader after it is reviewed.
Can I contact Allbooks Reviews after my review for other information or assistance?
By all means, we love to hear from our authors and we are always happy to direct you to a source or provide advice and encouragement. We will even help you with your book launch or book signing if it is local to our reviewer.
Why doesn’t Allbooks Reviews charge exorbitant rates like some other promotion sites?
Because we are authors ourselves and we know how hard it is to promote your book. Our prime objective is to be of assistance, to encourage and support fellow authors, we are not here to get rich or take advantage of anyone. The small fee that we charge for our promo package covers our administration costs and helps us improve our services and our site so that your book will receive the best promotion possible. There are reviewers that charge up to $350 for services included in the reasonable promo package by Allbooks Reviews, do your research!
